제가 요즘 잔티로 넘어온후 그래픽 드라이버만진다고 해매고 있습니다.

xorg.conf에 fglrx끼워넣어주고 부팅하니 모듈을 로드못하겟다고 해서 /etc/modules에 fglrx모듈을 넣어줫습니다. modprobe로 확인도 해봤군요. 정말로 컴피즈로 살다가 컴피즈를 못쓰니 답답합니다.

분명히 usplash적용안시키고 부팅할때 fglrx를 로딩하고 [ok]하는것도 봤는데 왜 X에서는 그걸 못잡을까요… 알파버젼이라 그런걸까요??

envy로도 해보고… 수동으로도 잡아봤지만요… ㅜㅜ

생각해보니 glx모듈이 저는 존재를 안하네요.

저기 modules파트에 fglrx를 넣어볼까요??

우분투 홈페이지에서 말하기를

아직 지원안한다니, 잠시 기다리세요.

제조사 제공 드라이버 설치로 버텨보시기 바랍니다

안나와 중고가 2만7천원 지포 6600 추천
제조사 드라이버 180.16으로 2D가 전 보다 5배는 빠르게 잘 됩니다. ^^
커널 2.6.28 과 리눅스지포드라이버 180 이 잘 맞는군요 …

xserver-xgl이란놈이 있던데 이놈은 대채 뭐에요?? 설치해도 설치는 안되지만… 컴피즈가 급합니다!!

fglrx가 안되니 컴피즈도 당연히 안되지 않을까요?
radeonhd 라는 오픈소스 드라이버로 3D가 가능한 ATI 카드가 있다는 얘기를 들어보긴 했는데 확실하지는 않네요.

그런데, 저 같으면 fglrx가 지원될 때까지 기다리던가, 아니면 8.10 으로 돌아가던가 하겠네요.
안정적이지 못한 알파 버전을 꼭 써야만 하는 이유가 있다면 모를까…
