I cannot download Korean language pack... Help me!

Hello, I recently started using Ubuntu 11.04.

The problem is that I cannot type in Korean.
I tried to install Korean language pack from Language suppor, but i kept failing to download the pack.
It’s just been showing that "Failed to fetch http://kr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo … u1_all.deb Connection failed"

So, I checked if my network had a problem, but it seemed totally fine. ( I tried both wired and wireless connections.) I don’t know what the problem is and how to fix it. Could anyone plz help me?

You can change your repository as ftp.daum.net in software-properties-gtk.

and then try agagin.

korean language pack 굳이 설치하지 말고

터미널에서
sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-hangul

Keyboard input method system을 ibus로 선택

Ibus preference의 Select input mehod에서 Korean을 선택하면 태극아이콘

상단패널의 키보드 아이콘 클릭하고 Restart 클릭

한글입력문제는
(한글)입력기를 설정해주면
간단히 해결될것으로 사료됩니다

구석기님께서 언급하신것처럼 ibus
를 손봐도 되구요^

일본어나 중국어를 쓸일이
없다면 그 입력기로써
나비도 괜찮아요^^

어떻게 repository 바꾸는지 몰라서 ibus-hangul 설치했더니 한글 입력 가능해졌습니다. :lol:

You can change your repository as ftp.daum.net in software-properties-gtk.

인즉… 시스템 -> 업데이트 관리자 -> 설정 -> 대한민국 누르시면 주서버, 대한민국, 기타… 나오는데
기타 누르시면 ftp.daum.net 선택 가능합니다.

업데이트 서버 변경 후
sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-hangul

하시면 됩니다.

간단한건데… 두시간만에 찾았네요 ㅠ
