서버가 자꾸 리부팅 됩니다

프로젝트 관리를 위해 이슈트래커(remine)을 모 IDC의 클라우드 서비스 서버를 이용하여 돌리고 있습니다.
소규모 팀이기에 접속자도 거의 없고 로드도 0.1을 넘어갈 일이 거의 없습니다.
그런데 이게 자꾸 규칙적으로 리부팅을 합니다.
하드웨어문제라고 보기에는 가상서버이기에 말을 못하겠고.
소프트웨어도 업데이트도 최신으로 모두 마쳐있고 서버데몬도 apache 와 mysql 정도만 돌아갑니다.
특별한 해킹 시도도 없는것 같고요.

아래는 리부팅된 기록인데,
보면 시간이 마이너스로 기록되어있는 경우 (-8:-49 식) 가 원치않는 리부팅과 일치합니다.
2~3일에 한번씩 계속 그러는데 도대체 왜 이럴까요?

위의 내용만으로는 어떤 현상이 발생하는 지 알 수 없습니다.

구체적인 로그를 보여 주시면 여러 분께서 진단에 참여할 수 있을 것 입니다.
/var/log/syslog를 참조 해서 보여 주시기 바랍니다.

/var/log/syslog 를 첨부합니다.
로그 보시면 오전 10시 17분까지 (로그파일중 4번째줄) /etc/cron.hourly 에 의해 실행되다가 10시44분에 문제의 재부팅이 있었습니다. (utc 기준시로 설정되어 19:44로 표기) 그리고 별 이상없이 다시 쭉 이어지고 있고요. 도대체 왜 그럴까요?

이 부분은 /etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf 파일에 구문 에러가 존재하는 것으로 추측 됩니다.
있어도 상관 없지만 딱히 구문 에러로 인해 재부팅 될 일은 없을 것 입니다.

중간에 하드 디스크의 파일 시스템을 복구 했는 데 뒤에 보니 정상으로 부팅 하는 걸 보니
이 때문에 발생하는 것은 아닌 것 같습니다.

파워 버튼 이벤트가 일어나는 것으로 의심 됩니다.
이 때문인 것 같은 데 이벤트를 따로 주셨다면 "PWRF"는 파워버튼을 눌렀을 때의 이벤트로 알고 있는 데

관련 설정 파일은 /etc/acpi/events 에 위치 하고 있으니 살펴 보십시오.

그외 큰 문제는 없는 것으로 보이고 다만 x-windows를 사용 하지 않으니
절전에 관한 이벤트는 아닐 것으로 확신 합니다.

번외로 acpi 버그가 있는 커널 일 수도 있을 것 같습니다.
로그에 있는 해당 커널이 아닌 다른 커널로 부팅해 보시고 같은 문제가 발생하는지도 살펴 보시기를 추천합니다.

또 한가지, 생각해 볼 수 있는 것은, 시간 형식으로, 기본적으로 UTC를 사용하는데,
윈도우즈에서는 UTC를 기본적으로 사용하지 않습니다. 가상머신의 호스트가 윈도우즈라면 이것 때문에 문제가 발생할 소지도 있지요.
이런 경우, /etc/default/rcS에서 UTC=yes를 UTC=no로 변경하시면, 로컬시간(KST)로 저장하고, 사용하게 됩니다.
물론, 그렇게 변경하시고, 리부팅하신 후, 위의 스크립트를 실행해주셔서, 하드웨어 클럭을 업데이트 해주시는 것이 좋습니다.

도움주신 분들 모두 고맙습니다.

몇일간 이것때문에 커널도 바꿔보고 전력관련해서 설정도 바꿔보면 삽질하다 하드웨어(가상머신)를 의심하지 않을 수 없어 업체에 전화하였더니 호스트를 바꿔주겠다고 하고.

그걸로 간단히 해결하였습니다. 이런!

왜 그런거같냐라는 질문에 ‘파워가 약해서…’ 정도로 말을 꺼내고 흐리던데 정확히 알고말하는건지 모르고 말하는건지는 모르겠습니다만 대형 업체의 가상머신 호스트서버도 믿을만한것이 못되나 봅니다.
그래도 부팅부터 이것저것 원격으로 해결할 수 있어 대부분 가상호스팅으로 갈아타는 중인데 앞으로 이런 비슷한 문제가 발생하면 서버단도 의심해야겠습니다.

다시한번 관심 갖어 주신분들 모두 고맙습니다.

헉, 새 컴 사서 윈도우 깔았는데, 사용중에 문제가 있어 해결을 위해서 고생하고 고생하다 마더보드 교체로 해결된 것 같은 느낌이네요.
앞전에 마더보드 이상으로 하드 부팅이 되지 않았는데 다른데서 원인을 너무도 열심히 찾다가 보드 교체로 해결되었던 추억아닌 추억이 생각납니다.

아마도 중고로 쓰던 걸 붙여 놓은 모양입니다. 파워가 약하면 cpu가 보드 설정에 따라 저절로 죽을 수 있습니다.
