분명 뭔가 이상한데요…
처음에는 잘 됐었는데…
어떤 버그가 생겼냐면…
한번씩 마우스 포인터가 다른 화면으로 안넘어가는 증상이 생겼습니다…
처음에 NVIDIA 드라이버 설치했구요…
그래서 특수 효과를 잘쓰다가…
듀얼 모니터를 연결하니 해당 드라이버로는 뭐가 안되네 어쩌네 하면서
드라이버를 바꾸더라구요…
그러고 나서는 특수 효과를 쓸 수 없게 되어버렸습니다…
그리고 그 후로 RANDR 익스텐션을 찾을 수 없다나 뭐라나 어쩌구하는 에러가 계속 나고 있습니다…
그래서 그냥 특수 효과를 포기하고 쓰다가…
여기 포럼에서 본
sudo apt-get --reinstall install xserver-xorg libxrandr2 x11-xserver-utils
재설치를 해보라는 말에 했다가 그런것 같습니다…
흑… 저렇게 안넘어갈때는 실행중이던 프로그램을 닫다 보면 넘어가더라구요…
주로 Firefox를 사용할때 자주 그러는것 같아요…
아… 그리고 한 화면에서는 VirtualBox에 윈도 XP를 심리스 모드로 사용하고 있구요…
뭐가 문제인건지… 흑…
우분투에서 멀티 모니터 쓰기가 윈도 보다 불편한 느낌이네요…

9.04 맞습니다.
처음 설치때는 하나로만 설치했었구요…
설치하고 나서 업데이트부터 다 하고
하드웨어 드라이버에 들어가서 NVIDIA 180 버전을 활성화 시키고 잘 썼습니다…
쓰다가 듀얼 모니터를 연결하고 설정을 할려니 지금 사용중인 드라이버가 어쩌구 저쩌구하면서 뭐가 바뀌는것 같더라구요…
그리고 나서는 듀얼 모니터를 쓸때 특수효과를 사용할 수가 없네요…
회사 정책이 바꼈다면서…
이제 PC 새로 바꾸는 사람한테는 모니터 고장날때까지(?) 17" 1280x1024 모니터 계속 쓰라고 그러네요… 쳇…
얼마전까지 PC 바꿔준 사람들한테는 1680x1050 모니터도 같이 바꿔줬었는데…
그래서 듀얼 설정을 해볼려고 했는데… 쩝…
듀얼을 무척 애용 하는 데…
우분투 경우 7.04 ~ 부터 쭉 듀얼 사용 중 입니다.
8.10 때 xorg 가 좀 바꿔져서 기존 xorg.conf 를 사용 할 수 없어
sudo nvidia-settings 로 다시 잡고 … 세부적 설정만 조금 추가해 사용 중 입니다.
예전에는 수동으로 xorg.conf 편집 하여야 했으나
요즘은 nvidia-settings 로 잘 잡아 보는게 쉬운거 같습니다.
sudo nvidia-settings 하여 잘 살펴 해보시기 바랍니다.

sudo nvidia-settings를 실행하면 터미널에 아래와 같은 에러가 쭉 뜹니다…
저 RANDR이 뭐하는건지 모르겠네요…
혹시 Primary Display가 오른쪽에 있는게 문제가 될 수 있나요?
그럴리는 없을것 같은데…
세팅을 초기화 시키고 처음부터 다시 해보려면 홈에 있는 .nvidia-settings-rc 저 파일을 지워보며 될런지…
/etc/X11/xorg.conf 이걸 손봐야하는건지…

오옷~ 뭔가… 잘 해결이 됐습니다…
강분도님 설정 화면을 보고 혹시나 해서 TwinView로 설정 했더니 듀얼에 특수 효과까지 잘되는군요…
그 전에는 Seperate X screen으로 설정해서 사용하고 있었는데 바꾸니까 잘되네요…
전 TwinView가… 동일한 화면이 두개 나온다는 뜻인줄 알고 그걸로 선택 안했었거든요… ^^;
위와 같은 에러는 여전히 나긴 하지만
그래도 일단 잘 나오니까 그냥 써볼려구요…
올 12월정도까지만 쓰면 회사에 PC 바꿔주니까 그때는 처음부터 세팅 잘 해봐야겠네요. ^^
